Radiation Safety Subcommittee (RSS)

A subcommittee of the Radiation Safety Committee (RSC) responsible for reviewing and approving research studies in which participants are exposed to ionizing radiation, as applicable. The application for human use of radiation in research should be completed and approved by to the RSS prior to submitting to the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
